I managed to wangle 2 weeks off over Easter from work to go to Cyprus, only to discover that flights are rare as hens teeth and way too pricey. October is less than half price. October is cold here and pleasantly warm there. No brainer. I wonder if they’ll let me adjust me leave again.
I do need some sort of a break over Easter. It has been a very hard year indeed and we do need a holiday.
Flying to Cyprus with a bairn is hell on Earth. I’m not looking forward to the travel at all. Flying on our own is easy. Add a child and you need to hire a car, f@&king car seat, haul cots, buggies, nappies around with you. We don’t need a plane we need a camel.
A weekend in the peaks would be nice now. Pity we’ve left it so late. Booking holidays was never my forte.
I like the new look website. You are welcome to use the house over Easter if you fancy the west of Scotland. I’ll be away some of the time. Have a look too at flights to Bordeaux- very cheap and only 3 hours drive from Drew’s.
