Dick arrived on Tuesday and left yesterday morning. I had a good strum on his fabby banjo and showed off my new new groovy guitar. Meanwhile Yoda, bang on queue, reverted from angel to demon, for the duration. Some night time wailing ensued. Most likely cause would be the last of his teething or simply [...] Well, it was a bank holiday weekend and we had great plans to do a pile of gardening on Saturday. We have all the sunflower seeds from our gaint flower from last year. However, the weather turned out to be much too damp, which was a pity as we planned a BBQ the next day. [...] Had a fab birthday BBQ at the weekend. Despite a short hail storm it was very sunny (though a bit chilly after the hail) and folk sat our and wagged chins. Lots of little ones running around at various times. Great to see some people I’ve not seen in ages. Lisa came up for it [...] Lucy was travelling to work on the train the other day there when it appeared to almost go off the rails. The driver has been suspend and the train removed from service. Some passengers are going to sue. This is really serious. It appears he was driving well above the speed limit over points and Lucy [...] |
