Once again Barrington village held its Remembrance Day service early. I thought my watch was wrong last year but the 2 mins silence was held at about 10:56am. Perhaps it’s supposed to ends at 11:00am. Anyway, we were late and arrived to the grave embarrassment of having all the children in the village with heads [...] Watched a documentary on Iraq last night where a BBC journalist followed US soldiers around the country. Very interesting. Number one: the US solders seemed to have an IQ of about 50, referring to mosques as “their temples or somethin’”. Number two: the locals seemed to be swallowing every ounce of crap the mullahs were [...] Well, there is that wobbly sound of boards being held above peoples heads reading “told you so”. Seems the forces in the gulf have started to get a bit of a thrashing from the locals. This seems to be a bit more than the usual sporadic bomb or shot. Its as if an underground revolution [...] Well, so they did. Saddam is behind bars at last. Was he the force behind the attacks on US troups? Probably not. Now those running for office in the USA are calling: give him a fair trial then hang him. Hmm sometimes I just think the US just live on a planet of their own. Meanwhile [...] Finally got off my arse and went to the Chimp demo. I managed to get a day off work at zero notice (thanks boss) and spent the morning charging my mobile, my digital camera and my camcorder (which I didn’t use). Got some good digital photos. hope they’ve come out ok. Looked like there were [...] |
