Hmm, yesterdays posting was saved as a draft and finally published today. Checking the date, it was correct as 11/11/2004. But the time suggests 10:55am. perhaps I was early than I thought for the service. Arafat was buried earlier today in a rather disorganised shambles. But hey, welcome to funerals. Everything goes at a funeral. Absolutely not [...] Once again Barrington village held its Remembrance Day service early. I thought my watch was wrong last year but the 2 mins silence was held at about 10:56am. Perhaps it’s supposed to ends at 11:00am. Anyway, we were late and arrived to the grave embarrassment of having all the children in the village with heads [...] |
