I am whacked. Yoda is sick AGAIN. Vomiting this time and coughing like a smoker. Poor lamb. So our weekend trip the The Smoke is cancelled. We were to do a grand tour of various people including a 40th birthday bash but that is all out the window now. Instead this will be DIY weekend. Yes, [...] One from my childhood, with a certain amount of updating from yours truly (fluffed of course). I’m off to bed now. If this video link is broken in the morning then you’ll have to wait till Monday night to find out what it is as I don’t have YouToob access at work. A great weekend[1]. Our chums came down from York for a visit. Both were very bright with the news of their soon to arrive baby (she’s 8 months gone). L and M compared bumps. M is ahead but L doesn’t look too far behind. D was sporting his new “I’m The Daddy” T-shirt. I glared [...] “Bring your uke-mando thing in tomorrow. I’ll be bringing in my multi track for you to play with.” What an offer. So I turned up this morning with a Tesco carried bag with my mandolin and ukulele within (just to be sure). So come lunch time we went down to the second floor. It is an empty [...] Another stonking night at The Boot. I came well prepared this time. A couple of chirpy songs under my arm and an arsenal of session tunes as back-up. This plan involved bringing 3 instruments: classical guitar, mandolin (A-type) and my £15 ukulele. Oh, and I practised for days and days before. Well, all the effort seemed [...] Someone at work sent me this. Hmm now could I get that out of my £10 ukulele? Practice makes perfect. |
